Ruff and Reddy Classic Comic

Ruff and Reddy was a comical dog and cat combo. They had some funny adventures and a TV series as well as their own comic book.

The "buddy" comic series had worked well with Tom and Jerry but this cartoon took a different approach. While Tom and Jerry were adversaries, Ruff and Reddy were best friends. This used to be one of my favorite cartoons on TV.

The comic book pages are in color but there is an opening page in black and white. 

The stories in the comics were simple but perfect for young kids. No complicated plots. A dog and a cat as the main characters appealed to the young ones. The fact that they got along together and were best friends was in stark contrast to Tom and Jerry. Although, as we all know, Tom and Jerry were basically friends.

Ruff and Reddy is cartoons the way they were meant to be.
